PCB Layout / Design / DFM

A printed circuit board (PCB) is comprised of layers of nonconductive material and conductive wiring on each layer. The goal of a successful PCB layout is to provide electrical pathways for electronic components by means of providing reliable electrical connections within the circuit as well as providing support for creating connection points on the outer layer. Effective layouts can heavily influence the performance of circuits, especially those with sensitive analog circuits or those with high-frequency switching. Design for manufacturability (DFM) is the practice of designing and optimizing products for ease of manufacturing and is also what SOE provides in concert with our PCB layout designs.
